When float-mounting artwork it is important to pick the right colour backing board because the mountboard will remain visible around the edge of the artwork.

Can be used for float-mounting artwork on their own, or in combination with a window mount.

Made from the same quality mountboard as the mounts, acid-free white-core board, 1.4mm thick.

The backing board works as a barrier between the artwork and any other backing board made from an unstable material such as hardboard or mdf.
